Bank Albilad Chairman Naser Al-Subaiee inaugurated the bank’s first “new-generation” branch in Riyadh’s Al-Hamra district. The branch has been equipped with the latest technologies to enhance customers’ banking experience and is regarded as the “nucleus” of a series of new-generation branches that will open soon across the Kingdom.
The move to open the new branches is in line with the bank’s strategic goal of offering the best services to its customers and facilitate them to obtain its products easily. It is also in line with the bank’s continuous efforts to expand its presence in the Kingdom.
“Bank Albilad has future plans for opening more new-generation model branches in the Kingdom’s different cities and governorates,” Al-Subaiee said.
In his speech at the inauguration of the branch, Abdulaziz Al-Unaizan, CEO of Bank Albilad, said: “The inauguration of Albilad’s new-generation model branches is part of the bank’s continuous efforts to improve its services, boost its presence in the financial services industry sector in the Kingdom and keep pace with the aspirations of customers wishing to benefit from its services that meet all banking needs.” He said the new branches represent a “quantum leap” in retail banking, as they aim to enrich customers’ banking experience by leveraging advanced technological services.
Al-Unaizan said the advanced branches are in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which entails the provision of the latest global services in the market, thus confirming Bank Albilad’s leadership in the banking sector.
“Albilad’s new-generation model branches offer smart and high-tech facilities that preserve the environment and reduce carbon emissions,” he added.
Calling it the bank’s “success partner,” Al-Unaizan expressed appreciation for electric vehicle maker Lucid, which is offering its electric car charging services to customers and users of EVs at the bank’s premises. It is part of the clean and renewable energy sources provided by Albilad’s new-generation model branches.
The branches provide a unique model of convenient and integrated customer experience and meet the best security standards compatible with the requirements of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia. The interior design of the branches is characterized by an open area as the barriers between tellers and customers have been removed. This symbolizes greater customer hospitality and enhances communication.
Albilad’s new branches include advanced display screens showcasing the latest banking products and services, and the new generation of ATMs that are equipped with the latest technologies. Services are also offered to people with special needs to facilitate their access to all the divisions of the branch.
